Buckie Shipyard fits out Gemini Catamaran
With a healthy order book for finished catamarans stretching into 2006, Gemini managing director Andrew Craig decided to use Buckie Shipyard's expertise to complete the boat for the earliest possible delivery time.
"Lewis Duthie and the lads at Buckie have done a fine job in finishing FRAM IV. With skippers in Scotland and Northern England showing interest in Gemini catamaran designs, similar projects are a strong possibility in the future" he told Fishing News.
Gemini delivered a bare hull and separate wheelhouse moulding to Buckie, where staff installed all the machinery, hydraulics and lined the wheelhouse (as pictured below). |
